A 3D printed house? That sounds too futuristic and far fetched to me... May not actually be.
This product is under development and in testing right now. This is something that could change the world for the better, being able to create a house that is printed as apposed to constructed by hands.
This would save on labor cost, and time, also did I mention? It is actually more structurally
sound then normal buildings with 10, 000PSI for the material and construction method.
"Professor Behrokh Khoshnevis has designed the giant robot that replaces construction workers with a nozzle on a gantry, this squirts out concrete and can quickly build a home according to a computer pattern. It is “basically scaling up 3D printing to the scale of building,” says Khoshnevis. The technology, known as Contour Crafting, could revolutionise the construction industry."
